AIIMS Result 2018 – Declaring on 18th June
Candidates will be able to view their results only through online mode. No other mode will be entertained to check it. It will be declared on 18th June 2018. AIIMS 2018 Result will be announced in the form of merit list. Candidates will check it through an applicant login by entering their candidate ID & password. The authority will also release it in two ways, i.e. rank wise & roll number wise. Candidates are suggested to take a print copy of it for counselling/admission procedure.
AIIMS 2018 Cut Off will be released through online mode. It will be published by the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), New Delhi. It refers to the minimum marks which candidates require to be considered eligible for admission.
AIIMS Merit List 2018
List of candidates, those qualify for counselling to MBBS programme will be published in form of AIIMS merit list. The marks/percentile scores of individual candidates will be available on the website. On the basis of AIIMS Result 2018, merit lists will be prepared. It will be made for Common (UR), SC, ST, OBC category based on percentile scores.

The examination will be organized on 26th & 27th May 2018. After a few days of examination, the result will be published by the authority. It will be declared through online mode on 18th June 2018. Qualified candidates will be called for counselling process on the basis of AIIMS Merit List 2018. The counselling will be started from 3rd, 04th, 05th, 06th July 2018.

Normalization Process
The normalization will be utilized to decide on the merit/ranking (used at the time counselling for seat allotment) between those candidates who appeared on examination. The normalization procedure will be adopted on the basis of percentiles.
Percentile Scores
These are scores which based on relative performance of all candidates, those appear in the examination. Basically, marks secured are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each group of examinees.
It indicates the percentage of candidates, which they have scored equal to or below that particular percentile in that exam. That’s why topper (higher score) of each group will get the same percentile of 100. The marks secured in between highest & lowest scores are also converted to appropriate percentiles. The Percentile score is Normalized Score for examination.
Methods of Resolving Ties
The overall merit/ranking will be based on percentile scores of total raw scores. The procedure will be adopted for breaking ties (similar percentiles) will be given here:
Biology: If tie happens, then higher percentile scores in Biology will be considered as higher ranking.
Chemistry: In case Biology percentile does not break ties, then higher percentile scores in Chemistry will result in higher ranking.
Physics: If Biology & Chemistry percentiles do not break the tie, higher percentile scores in Physics will consider in higher ranking.
Age: If Biology, Chemistry & Physics percentiles do not break ties, then the elder age of candidates will be ranked higher.
